I'm an expat from Switzerland, living in Key West, FL. It was also for me a culture shock in the begin, now after 6 years I'm getting used to this American Way of Life.:-))and Key West is NOT America!....smile..
Thanks for the comments and the nice words. I believe Key West would have a caribean or Cuban flavor.
Actually there is no typical American culture. It is many sub-cultures mixed together which makes live interesting.
