Enjoyed the meal there. You cannot get a decent hotel in Ubon for 500 Baht per night. You can get a mansion room (studio apartment) for that much. On Phadaeng Rd behind Wrong Way Cafe is a small place runs about 350 or so per night. Across the street is Phadaeng Mansion about 500 per night and just north of Phadaeng Mansion is Ariya Mansion I am not sure of the rate but it is comparable. There are some others, it all depends on what you want.
